Always wanted to explore our 11+ miles of paved trails by way of bike, but don’t have a bike? Or, maybe you regularly hit the trails but have out of town guests who didn’t think to pack their cruisers (they aren’t exactly carry on friendly…)? No matter what your “sans-bike” scenario may be, we’ve officially got you covered. Just in time for National Bike Month, we kicked off a bike-sharing program for our residents and their guests! 3 shiny, new Linus bicycles (2 adult, one kiddo style) can be found at the Vista Park Information Center, and borrowing one takes about 5 minutes of your time. So, how does it work? In a nutshell…

1. Bring your ID to the Information Center and fill out a rental form with our friendly staff.
2. Air up the tires, hop on and enjoy the trails!
3. Return the bike within 4 hours, or by close of business, so your neighbors can have a go!

Easy enough (except for those hills!) As demand for this program grows, so will our collection of awesome bikes. We hope you all enjoy this new amenity, and we hope to see you on the trails soon! Because now, you are officially out of excuses.

On January 24th, 2014 the Frisco Chamber celebrated and honored local businesses and individuals who have worked to keep Frisco’s economy and businesses environment healthy and one of the most coveted places to live in the Texas. We’re excited to announce that Republic Property Group received the award for developer of the year for our development Phillips Creek Ranch in Frisco, TX!

Thank you to all of our residents (and soon to be residents) who came out to our first Phillips Creek Ranch Resident Holiday Party on Saturday night! We had so much fun visiting with you and your lovely families. From this event, we have also learned that our visitor center is officially too small to host resident events now…we already have THAT many wonderful people living here! Here’s to many more (big) events in 2014!

Throwback Thursday = our PCR mascot, Dash for Cash! “Dash was the only horse to win the coveted ‘Champion of Champions’ not once, but twice. He was the Racing World Champion in 1976 and 1977 and during this period set two track records, won 21 of 25 starts, including 9 stakes races and he finished first or second in every race he entered except for one.” So basically, he was the top dog (horse) at Phillips Ranch.
